The EU

Google says the EU requires a notice of cookie use (by Google) and says they have posted a notice. I don't see it. If cookies bother you, go elsewhere. If the EU bothers you, emigrate. If you live outside the EU, don't go there.

Commercial Space Efforts

I have been negligent in reporting about commercial organizations developing space flight capabilities.  Even the sound of it is strange to our ears.  We expect NASA to do all that sort of thing for us.

That said, here is a report on "Blue Origin" and its latest test, about a week ago.  It was terminated at 45,000 feet and Mach 1.2.  Still, that they got that far and that fast is a considerable feat.  Few of us have been that far up and that fast.

On the other hand, it is Mr Jeff Bezos.  I think he is a near genius.  Your mileage may differ.
