The EU

Google says the EU requires a notice of cookie use (by Google) and says they have posted a notice. I don't see it. If cookies bother you, go elsewhere. If the EU bothers you, emigrate. If you live outside the EU, don't go there.

How is Sarah Trading?

The "In Trade" trading site shows that there was, net, not a big bump nor was there a big fall-off from the announcement by Governor Palin that she is stepping down from her office later this month.  This information and the trading status of other potential nominees by the Republican Party can be found here.

The contract ID of this contract is: 652756

Law Professor Ann Althouse reports the same thing and then mentions a Gallup Poll, which says pretty much the same thing.  For those of you living in terror of President Palin, the long nightmare is not over.

Looks like a guy could really buy low on Ron Paul--wish I knew why the folks with all the real ideas (at least the ones that make sense to me) are always shunted towards the bottom of these sorts of things. And where is T. Boone Pickens?

As much as I love her, people's perceptions are pretty much set in stone. Even if she did win, it would be close and polarizing.

I'm just really surprised listening to family members thought how quick they are to throw Obama under the bus (they voted for him) if the economy doesn't turn around soon. My husband and I are assuming if anything the economy will just be stagnant for a long time.
