Hatchet Job on Kerry

And Senator John Kerry isn't even running for anything.

From The Washington Times we have analyst Joseph Curl comparing Candidate Mitt Romney with candidate John Kerry.  The title is "CURL: Is Romney the next Kerry?".  In the piece the author takes a swipe at our our Junior Senator, Scott Brown.  While praising Mr Eric Fehrnstrom as the mastermind behind Senator Brown’s 2010 win, he says:
Sure, Mr. Brown will lose in a landslide in 2012, but still, that’s pretty amazing to win that seat.
Isn't it embarrassing that folks down in DC think of our Senior Senator as a drip?

I've meet John Kerry and seen him on a couple of occassions. He is much better in person. Assuming you like that sort of thing? I generally do.

Oh ya, Fehrnstrom's a genius, alright!
US Senator Scott Brown said yesterday that he was unaware a top adviser was mocking a potential political rival under a false Twitter account, but Brown added that he has “made clear to everyone on or associated with my team that this type of thing is not to happen again.’’

In a statement to the Globe, the Massachusetts Republican said of the actions of aide Eric Fehrnstrom: “While it’s clear Eric was seeking to inject a little levity into politics on his own time, I wasn’t aware of what he was doing.’’

Mitt can blow it, even if he picks Sarah Palin. Newt said he might. But, Newt will say anything. Though, he is not a flip-flopper, like Mitt. Newt just lacks, um .... principles.

What sort of thing?

I sincerely hope most politicians are better one v one.

I like Will Rogers' line, "I never met a man I didn't like."

The "thing" is nothing. Brown will not unilaterally defanged his operatives. He will expect them to take nefarious, yet plausibly deniable, actions. Politics ain't beanbag.

Maybe he meant getting caught?
