For John, BLUF: The GOP, which started out as a party concerned about an oppressed minority, has lost its knack. Nothing to see here; just move along.
The Lowell Republican City Committee Web Site has a blog post noting that IBD sees Asian-Americans slipping onto the Democratic Party side of the ledger.
This is not a good thing for the Republican Party. If the approach is to hunker down and look for heretics, then it will become the Party the pundits describe—the Party of old Caucasian males. Well, the pundocracy tends to say old white guys, but that is just another slur at Republicans.
If you are an Asian-American and you think that the Republicans have a real message; a message of individual freedom and initiative, a message of the protection of individual rights and the principle of one level of government not doing what can and should be done by a lower level of government, then you should check them out.

Ciff, I think we have Chevy's (democrats) and Ford's (republicans) the party's job is to see to the un-enrolled, the Chevy's are winning! the republicans need to upscale their model to one that the un-enrolled will buy
This last election the Chevys pushed the idea that the Fords were rich people working to make the poor poorer. People vote their wallet and if you think you are poor now, just go buy a ford and you will really be poor! Just my perception.
BOTTOM LINE: Sell your self to the un-enrolled and you will win.

At some point, over coffee, you'll have to explain to me how, as a Democrat, I'm not carrying this message.
Maybe, I'm just not carrying it to the exclusion of all other messages, enough? Did someone mention "heretics?" Or, was it purists?
Tea or a soda, but are you buying?
Maybe out West, at Devens.
