The Daily Beast’s Andrew Sullivan, who risked his mainstream reputation to question Palin’s character, politics and even maternity, told POLITICO that now he can “get a life.”This whole issue would just be a blip, if the person running for President on the other ticket in 2008 had been so much better qualified than Governor Palin. I recognize your mileage may differ.
“Helping to prevent her from getting her hands on power was one of my guiding goals once I realized the MSM was never going to do it,” he wrote. “I lost vast tracts of time and not a few T-cells trying to understand and expose this farce, and it’s a huge relief that this preposterous saga is over. Just knowing she isn’t a threat is a huge psychic relief if you care about America and the world.”

And we instead of Palin elected an idiot who is failin' (sorry...the poetry is inescapable). There are very few pundits whose brain droppings are worthy of engaging a few brain cells.....Sullivan and The Daily Beast isn't one of them. Proof is that he took on a taak that the Obama lapdog MSM deemed unimportant to waste time on, the further denigration of Sarah Palin....as if his pronouncements regarding her capabilities...or lack of....was the penultimate assessment.
What is so vile and abysmally disappointing about "journalism" today is that while they stand breathlessly reporting every little burp and flatulent utterance of The One...knowing full well that he is piloting a craft nose down in the stormy sea....they are one a Capella chorus of sneers and jeers against anyone who would aspire to the office of POTUS. Fine!! If you want to criticize and demean....do it...but at least have the cahones to suggest a better alternative.....well..other than the current failure. Oh...sorry....it was Bush's fault.
The entire zoo has escaped and the animals have joined the journalists in senseless mayhem on the populace.....
I am of a tea party persuasion...at least to the extent that I could care less about party affiliation. I want only someone who is qualified and is going to actually get the job of the people done...without excuses and finger pointing. Oh.....and someone who doesn't view election as a financial opportunity for lifetime employment/compensation.
"little burp and flatulent utterance"
Well, there you have it, textbook projection.
Palin makes Dan Quayle look like William F. Buckley and you both know it.
I am thinking that VP Dan Quayle was not so much dumb as lazy. He likes to play golf. I will say that his wife did make him look like she was the brains and energy behind the operation. Marilyn Quayle, wasn't it?
